- 1Click "Download for Windows" above to get the 64-bit installer (.exe).

macOS
- 1Download the universal .pkg for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
- 2Open the package and follow the macOS installer prompts.
- 3If macOS blocks the app, right-click Gretl in Applications and choose Open.
- 4Gretl will appear in Launchpad and is ready to use.
Linux
- 1Install via your package manager: apt install gretl, dnf install gretl, or pacman -S gretl.
- 2Alternatively, download the source tarball and run ./configure && make && sudo make install.
- 3Ensure the GTK 3 runtime and Gnuplot are installed for full functionality.
